PRiME & PM is the Minnesota Twin Cities hip hop duo consisting of front person Zaximus (Zaxi) Giga PRiME and the finger drumming mad man Jake PM.  The two first collabed when Zaximus heard the instrumental for Darkside and asked if Jake would let Zaxi donate lyrics to the track because Zaxi believed in it so much but had nothing to give for the music.  Jake loved the project and immediately began to conspire to break up Zaxi’s first music group “Tokewood” and form a band.  Jake proposed the artists release a project under both their names, prolly because neither had trust for the other.  The name somehow didn’t become Jake and Zaxi, the everyday names they were called.  Jake’s love for alliteration lead them to the title “PRiME & PM”, warping and entangling the two’s fate in a lifestyle that was started as a one off.  PRiME wanted PM to add to the live performance and so the finger drumming/ rapping duo was born.  Operating out of PM/s basement laboratory, the now long time best friends hone their skills together as a team, trying to terraform the underground into a landscape they can call their home.  Eventually the group was accepted into a music collective family but they could never treat it with as much devotion as the duo.  Eventually they were kicked out due to arguments and being out of sync with the other members (couple of jerks).  Being big comedy fans the duo competed on the Battle of the Bad Ass Bands, a segment on the Legion of Skanks comedy show by GAS Digital.  PRiME & PM lost the competition but gained notoriety due to being so well liked by the LOS community of fans.  The highest profile song the band has released is called “The Iffiest” featuring a collaboration with voice acting from Dana Snyder, known best for his role as Master Shake on Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  Just like for anyone else, it seems like the ball never really gets rolling.  Each moment requires constant, never ending effort, and that easy coast after the grind is just a myth.  Really, just two humans from the  Minnesota Twin Cities who need all the friends they can get.  If you read this far, consider this an invitation to share in the experience and introduce yourselves.  Friends use the names Zaxi and Jake, officially known as PRiME & PM.
